Melissa graduated with her undergraduate degree from UW Madison in 2021. Following graduation, she has worked as both a second and third-grade teacher. Melissa holds a position in 4K at Marshall Public Schools in Wisconsin, the same district where she once was a student. Her commitment to contributing to positive change aligns with her decision to remain and make a positive difference in the community she knows well. Interested in the goals and focus of the MSPE program, Melissa developed an interest in exploring equitable student learning. She has a passion for continuous learning and professional growth and hopes to apply the acquired knowledge in her teaching and share valuable ideas with colleagues.
