Amanda is a first-grade teacher in Madison, WI. She is actively involved in the dual language immersion program. In this educational setting, her students divide their day between learning in English and Spanish. Amanda harbors a passion for this program, recognizing the valuable opportunity it provides for students to become bilingual at an early age. Motivated by her love for learning and desire to continually refine and enhance her teaching methods, Amanda joined the MSPE program. She envisions playing a role in educational reform to improve the educational system for students, staff, and the community.
