AJ teaches 7th Grade English Language Arts in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, a small suburb outside of Harrisburg. AJ earned an undergraduate degree in English with a Secondary Education Certification from Shippensburg University in 2018. They have been teaching since the 2019-20 school year, with experience in 7th, 8th, and 9th grades.
A colleague’s positive experiences sparked AJ’s interest in the MSPE program. AJ is excited about the MSPE program’s potential opportunities and sees it as a step toward their ultimate goal of becoming a professor who instructs future teacher candidates in secondary education.
