Flynn is an Instructional Coach for a Head Start Program in Milwaukee, WI. Her educational journey began after graduating from Ripon College with a degree in Early Childhood Education and Psychology. Following graduation, she began her career as a paraprofessional in an intensive Special Education classroom in her home state of Illinois. Shortly after, she moved back to Wisconsin to become a lead teacher in a 3’s, 4’s, and 5’s classroom for Head Start. After two years of teaching, Flynn transitioned into a Resource Teacher role, enabling her to expand her impact. Flynn applied for the MSPE program because of her love for continuing education. Flynn is passionate about infant and early childhood mental health/trauma-informed care and advocating for its importance in children’s development.
