Carley Schweiger was born and raised in Greenfield, Wisconsin, and is currently in her third year of teaching. She teaches at Kradwell School in Milwaukee, an alternative placement school serving middle and high school students. Carley holds a bachelor’s degree in K4–12 Cross-Categorical Special Education from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. While she primarily teaches social studies and history, she is also in the process of developing three new classes: Criminal Justice, Introduction to Business, and Medical Terminology.
I enrolled in the MSPE program because I was looking at getting a master’s degree at some point in my life. I was looking for something in psychology/mental health as a lot of the students that I work with struggle with mental health. I wanted to be able to better serve the students I work with. This program stuck out to me in being virtual, covering psychology and education.
