Through InterestEd, Laura partners with schools, homeschool families, and organizations to provide professional development, curriculum design, and instructional coaching that support flexible, research-based approaches to learning. She also serves on the boards of the Wisconsin Association for Talented and Gifted (WATG) and the Wausau Conservatory of Music. Laura has published several creative learning resources, including student workbooks and curriculum designed to support social-emotional and creative growth. She is pursuing her master’s in Educational Psychology at the University of Wisconsin–Madison to better understand the science of learning and use it to design environments where every student can grow with confidence, curiosity, and purpose.
I joined the MSPE program to bridge research and real-world practice. My goal is to help educators, families, and students see learning as a dynamic, flexible process that meets every learner where they are. I hope to translate what I’m studying into resources and experiences that make education more creative, inclusive, and joyful for all learners.
