Margaret Jenks

Margaret Jenks has been teaching choral and general music across a wide range of grade levels for over 30 years. She currently teaches at Hamilton Middle School in the Madison Metropolitan School District (MMSD). In addition to her school teaching, Margaret frequently leads adult music education workshops, primarily in Wisconsin and New York City through Carnegie Hall. She lives in Madison, Wisconsin, and enjoys the walkability of the city. With a background in teaching graduate-level music education courses and a deep passion for reading and discussing music, Margaret was drawn to a program that included educators from a variety of disciplines. She has long been interested in the science of learning and education-related research.
