Nicole Dowland

Originally from the tiny town of Mt. Calvary in northeast Wisconsin, Nicole has called Madison home for the past 25 years and is excited to officially become a Badger. Nicole works as an adjunct instructor at Madison College in the Photography and Video Audio Design programs, where she teaches courses such as Intro to Photography and Video, Advanced Digital Workflow (Photoshop), Portfolio Prep (with a focus on digital marketing), and Video Production. She shares that she first got into teaching by accident while finishing her bachelor’s degree in Information & Communication Technology at UW–Stout, but quickly discovered a deep passion for teaching that continues to grow.
