Philip Pethan lives and works in the Madison area. Now in his fourth year as an educator, Philip began his journey at the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse, where he earned his undergraduate degree in education. In his current role, Philip has embraced several leadership opportunities within his school community. He enjoys planning family engagement events, analyzing school data to drive meaningful improvements, and developing learning opportunities for fellow staff members.
I’m eager to begin the MSPE program to gain a deeper understanding of the barriers to accessing education, how to support all learners, and analyze education as a system on a macro scale. I hope to utilize this degree to gain leadership experience, specifically through the coaching cycle, and transition into leadership roles within our district or building.
