Tara Simonis-Brunner

Tara Simonis-Brunner is in her 12th year of teaching. She graduated from UW–Madison in 2014 with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in mathematics. Throughout her career, she has taught 5th through 8th grade in three different states and is currently teaching 6th grade math in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin.

MSPE is exactly what I had in mind for a masters program. I am very excited about the wide range in classes and the diverse subjects in which we will be learning about. The Instructional Coach certification also drew my attention as I have always enjoyed working with my Instructional Coaches and would love to fill that role in the future. I think that this program will help me while I am still in the classroom or if I decide to change paths and find a new role in education.
